Is ground beef healthy
The answer is YES!, if it’s grass-finished.
You want beef that’s been raised on pesticide-free grass its whole life, not just for a short time (like most grass-fed beef).
I know that’s not easy or possible for everyone. So don’t feel badly if you can’t get the best, but I think it’s still ideal to know what is the best and why. You can read more about how to get good beef here.
If you’re able to get grass-finished ground beef, then it’s high in omega-3 fatty acids!
Grass-finished beef purchased directly from the farmer is more affordable. Ask around to see who might be growing regenerative beef in your town or a nearby city.

Iโm enjoying having all these recipes together. I recently made the Shephardโa pie, the best of all the versions Iโve tried, and two of us devoured it in two meals. Next I want to try the beef and parsnip poppers, then maybe the beef gyros. Some others have been enjoyed as well, especially the coconut ground beef curry (without turmeric), which Iโve made more than any. Great ground beef recipes!
