Why green smoothies aren’t healthy
You might have noticed I avoided green smoothies. They’re wrought with problems — causing health issues that develop over time. So even if they help you feel healthy right now, the raw greens aren’t ideal being high in: oxalates, vitamin A (now being implicated in toxicity at regular high doses, which includes daily high doses of greens often dosed through smoothies), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances โ known as PFAS (one more reason to avoid kale specifically) and anti-nutrients.
