- avocado
- Paleo mayo (link in Recipe card below); or for dairy option, Keto, LC etc: fine use probiotic sour cream
- coconut milk (or heavy cream if preferred for dairy option, LC and Keto)
- pickle juice
- dried oregano
- dried parsley or mint
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- sea salt
- dried ginger powder
It’s also fine to sub in any fresh herbs! Fresh dill and fresh tarragon are two of my favorites, but the dry herbs used here are also all great fresh!
How to make Pickle Juice Dressing
This recipe is made quickly in the blender:
- Combine in blender all ingredients: avocado, Paleo mayo/sour cream, coconut milk, pickle juice, oregano, parsley or mint, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and dried ginger powder. Purée on lowest speed until smooth, about 20 seconds.

- ½ avocado
- ⅓ cup Paleo mayo egg-free like this for AIP or similar; or for Primal, LC and Keto, you may also use probiotic sour cream
- ⅓ cup coconut milk (or heavy cream if preferred for LC and Keto)
- ⅓ cup pickle juice
- 1 Tablespoon oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon parsley or mint, dried
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon ginger powder dried, or pepper for non-AIP
Instructions
- Combine in blender all ingredients: avocado, Paleo mayo (or sour cream for LC), coconut milk (or heavy cream for dairy option), pickle juice, oregano, parsley or mint, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and dried ginger powder. Purée on lowest speed until smooth, about 20 seconds.
- Pour over, serve on the side, or toss, with salad. To store, seal and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
