Salted Lemonade Smoothie Ingredients
- frozen banana (or 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt if preferred)
- non-dairy milk, divided (rice, oat or other non-dairy milk); you’ll be freezing half of this to make non-dairy milk ice cubes (use a tray or silicone mold that creates ice cubes on the smaller side, like this)
- fresh lemon juice
- quality salt (this one is highly recommended for both purity and flavor), or potassium salt, or electrolyte mix
- honey or maple syrup
How to make Salted Lemonade Smoothie
- Plan ahead and freeze the 1/2 cup milk in a small-ice cube tray (making smaller than usual ice cubes, which blend more easily).
- Place the frozen banana, milk-ice cubes, milk, lemon juice, sweetener and salt into a blender.
- Turn the blender on low speed, then raise to high. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until the mixture is thick, smooth and creamy.
