Grass-fed Bone Broth Bouillon

It's something almost every pantry needs: A real food Grass-fed Bone Broth Bouillon! I know most of us gave up on that a long time ago, but now it exists: convenient, nutritious, high in protein and so helpful to keep on hand. Use Grass-fed Bouillon in soups, sauces, by the mug-full -- and in every recipe where you need more nutrition or flavor.
This product and recipe is actually better than grass-fed: It's made from U.S. pasture-raised cattle (or see their chicken option as well).

Ingredients

Instructions

Liquid Bouillon for soups, sauces or by the mug

  • Pour water into small saucepan. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. Heat over medium high heat stirring occasionally until it's steamy hot.
Fine to simmer briefly, but do not boil.

Powdered Bouillon for pantry storage

  • To make just bouillon powder that's ready to scoop and use, combine just the dry ingredients -- bone broth powder, salt and onion powder -- (fine to double, triple etc the ingredients) in a spice jar or larger mason jar. When ready to use, give it a quick stir, or shake, to be sure the ingredients are evenly mixed, then measure.
  • Store in airtight spice storage container (like this for smaller storage or a mason jar).
Use 1/4 cup bouillon powder for every 2 to 4 cups of soup, depending on how much flavor is needed.
Use bouillon powder in sauces, to taste, whisking in 1 Tablespoon at a time.
