Pourable Chocolate Sauce is a Hershey's Syrup copycat but SO much more delicious and made with just 3 real food ingredients. Perfect for Keto, Low Carb, Vegan, Paleo and GAPS-friendly. Keeps in the fridge. Always pourable, hot or cold.
1/2cupLakanto Liquid Monk Fruit Sweetenerfor Keto or part stevia, to taste; for Paleo and Vegan, use pure maple syrup; use honey for GAPS diet
Instructions
In small-medium size saucepan whisk together cocoa and oil. Add low-carb sweetener (or maple syrup or honey), whisking again.
Over medium heat, whisk chocolate until warm, about two minutes. Do not simmer or over-heat.
Serve or keep in fridge until ready to use. The chocolate sauce will stay pourable but may need to be whisked or shaken before serving after sitting in fridge.
Notes
Chocolate Milk/ Hot Chocolate
To make chocolate milk or hot chocolate with this syrup, you'll need to add sweetener to taste. I use just a bit of stevia (I like this one), and it works great — delicious! Or use preferred unrefined sweetener, stirring or blending to dissolve.
